Why?
- Home to 20 new sports fields designed to minimise water use
- Pop-up sprinkler systems will ensure high uniformity application across the grounds
- A ‘weeping membrane system’ takes care of the trees’ root zone
- Mulching of up to around 2 metres around the trees ensures efficient water utilisation
- Plans have been made to capture water in storage tanks to then be re-used to water the trees
